I’ve known Katie for about 12 years now….wow, can’t believe it’s been that long! We grew up with a close group of friends in Kennewick, WA until I moved to Vancouver in 1990. We reconnected in collage and were even roommates with another one one my past brides, Liz. We had a great college experience together with many fond memories that I’ll always cherish (Go Cougs!)
I was so honored that she and Zach chose me to photograph their wedding in December. I had an awesome time seeing all my old friends and being such an important part of their big day. Katie was an absolutely stunning bride and they had a lot of awesome details like her grandmother’s fur coat, a spacious cigar tent, and a full bar of Zach’s family’s delicious (and potent!) beer on tap. Like my husband Patrick and I, Katie and Zach went to rival colleges – WSU and UW. I loved seeing people giving them “house divided” presents…reminded me of my own wedding! Needless to say, Patrick and I had a blast!
Thank you Katie and Zach for inviting us to capture your wedding memories. What a great day! Love you guys!!
- I turned my back for one minute and this is what the boys were doing…

Love the wide shot of them in front of the church wood doors!
