She had me at “sushi”.

Elise’s mom, Kerrie, called me asking about senior pictures and said that she heard about me from my favorite sushi place – Katsura’s (formerly Yoshi’s) – here in Vancouver. She had me sold right then. Any sushi lover is a friend of mine! It got even better after she told me she had 2 seniors in her family graduating next year. Elise and Justin are step siblings and only a month or 2 apart in age. How fun! I was so excited to meet them. We started our double senior session at my studio in Salmon Creek then headed out on the town. First up, downtown Vancouver. We got a couple shots then came the downpour. I was so bummed, but then remembered that I had another senior session in a few days and asked if they’d like to come after that session and finish theirs. It worked out great! I was even able to get some pictures of the 2 of them in front of my favorite tree in the entire city
