2010 is bringing lots of changes to Take 5 Photography! I’m launching a new wedding website sometime next month and totally re-branding my portrait site, blog, marketing materials, and client proofing process. I will be keeping the old logo for my weddings, but since I shoot mainly portraits I thought it would be fun to have a new look! I’m super excited about the new branding and even more excited to show you all the cool modern products I’m going to be offering. So fun!

For now…here’s the new logo! New sites launching next month!

Katy {Senior Session}

December 9, 2009

My last senior of the year! Ended with a bang too…check out her funky style! 4 words — footy pajamas & prom dress! Love it!

Thanks Katy, you’re such a fun and sweet girl. I had a blast during our session! Good luck with the rest of senior year! :-)

Emily {Senior Session}

November 13, 2009

Emily is one of my CRHS reps this year…she’s one of the sweetest girls I know and her awesome personality was easily captured on camera. Just look at that smile!

Thanks for being so great Emily! Hope you’re having an amazing senior year!

Brittany {Senior Session}

October 30, 2009

Time to get caught up on my blog! It’s been a crazy (but great!) month!

I did Brittany’s senior pictures last month and we picked the perfect day for photos. Very warm, soft light was available in the early evening for us to take advantage of. I was very happy with the results!
Thanks for your patience on these Brittany! I had a great time with you! :-)

Ariel {Senior Session}

October 15, 2009

Ariel and I had a blast shooting her senior session at Washington Park and in the Pearl District in Portland. She told me that her mom had her senior pictures taken at the park and that she used to hang out with her friends there a lot when she was in high school. I thought that was very special and loved how she wanted hers done there too!

Sophia {Senior Session}

October 14, 2009

Sophia and I had a blast during our session…well, sessionS! Our first one was interrupted by a little rain so we went in the studio and had a blast fooling around with the camera, her different outfits, and awesome shoes!

We rescheduled the rest of… the outside shots for a week later and it turned out to be the perfect day. Just look at that awesome late afternoon light! Oh…and we also saved a few frogs from an untimely death in the sand. Haha…thanks Sophia for a great session! Have a great senior year!

Laura {Senior Session}

October 6, 2009

When Laura booked me for her session, she told me that she’d like to start in her grandparent’s yard for her session. What a great idea! They lived on a bunch of property in north Vancouver, by the WSU campus. It was beautiful. Old fences, vines, open fields. Photographer’s dream! :-)

After working the farm for a while, we went down to the waterfront and downtown Vancouver. I love the bright flowers in the park and the colored walls and garage doors on the streets. Hope you like your preview Laura! Thanks so much for choosing me for your senior pictures!

Alyssa {Senior Session}

October 6, 2009

Alyssa and I had a great time shooting her senior pictures! She is so friendly and sweet, she has such a bright future! Enjoy the preview Alyssa! :-)
