Tried to take advantage of the fall colors while they were here…for like 2 weeks! Ugh! Super short fall this year, but the sessions I was able to book were so great! Fall is one of my favorite seasons, especially for photography. The soft light and gorgeous trees makes it so fun! Of course, it helps to have a BEAUTIFUL family in front of the camera. I mean…c’mon. So cute!!

November 21, 2011Beautiful Fall Couple Session {Vancouver, WA Family Portraits}
November 18, 2011Love this couple! Eryn and Jason are some of our closest friends, it was so fun to get some great pictures of them! We picked the perfect fall day with lots of those beautiful colors that went away WAY too fast this year! They brought along their dog Tyson, he was so fun to run around after and how photogenic! Takes after his parents
Thanks you guys!!
Ava {Vancouver, WA Professional Newborn Photography}
November 15, 2011I am just so happy to post this session! My great friends Angelique and James welcomed their baby girl on October 7th and I couldn’t be more happy with them! They have had a lot of struggles these past 4+ years (you can read about their son Hayden here), so their new addition is truly a blessing. I can’t wait to see her again! Love you guys!!
Finally getting these pictures posted for Krista and John! Took me a while to sort through all 6,000 pictures! I had 2 second shooters for this wedding since I was nearing the end of the horrible first trimester pregnancy grossness. I wanted to make sure this wedding was well captured! I had a blast with them during their engagement session. I just knew that was going to be one for my portfolio!
Krista was such a stunning bride, you can just see the admiration John has for her in his eyes. Such a gorgeous couple! Thanks you guys for allowing me to be a part of your big day! Wish you years of happiness and love in the future!
Kinsley {Vancouver, WA Professional Newborn Photography}
November 3, 2011Finally…here is little Kinsley’s newborn session! After a beautiful maternity session and the honor of photographing her birth, I was so excited to finish the story of the first moments of Kinsley’s life. I just love this family! Thank you Todd and Ivy!
Jenn + Kevin {Sauvie Island Wedding Photography}
November 3, 2011These 2 are very near and dear to my heart. I’ve known Kevin since we were classmates in middle school and have gotten to know Jenn throughout the…what was it, Jenn, 7+ years?!
I now consider both of them some of my closest friends. It was my pleasure to photograph their big day back on August 20th at a private residence on Sauvie Island. It was a BRIGHT sunshiny day, but we found some shade to photograph in and we got some great shots. I just love you two! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day! xoxo
P.S. Congrats on outlasting Kim K.!
Van + Steven {Olympia, WA Professional Wedding Photography}
November 2, 2011This was my first Olympia wedding and boy was it a beautiful one! I had been looking forward to photographing Van and Steven’s big day ever since hearing about all the details during our engagement session in April. We started with a traditional tea ceremony, went right into a Catholic church wedding ceremony, then had a blast walking around the Washington State Capitol for portraits. I had never had that much time for portraits before and it was amazing! We got to take advantage of all the beautiful spots around the capitol buildings. I am going to stress an hour for portraits with all my future clients! So worth it.
Anyway, after we were finished downtown, the bridal party hopped in a limo and we headed to the Thurston County Community Center for the reception. It was built on the edge of a lake and absolutely beautiful at sunset! Patrick and I had so much fun with these guys, thanks Van and Steven so much for the honor of being your wedding photographers! I know you have many many years of happiness ahead of you. Congratulations!!
Destination Portraits {New York City Professional Family Pictures}
November 2, 2011A couple weeks ago I flew to NYC to photograph my best friend’s engagement session. One of my favorite clients moved to Long Island last year and thankfully I visit quite often so I can continue photographing them! I’ve been capturing little Charlize since she was still in her mommy’s tummy! I got some great pictures of her when just a few days old, and also when she turned one. These are her 2 year photos and I can’t believe how much she’s grown! Running, talking, playing…such a personality! I just love her.
Thanks Melissa and Rolly for wanting me to continue being your family photographer even when we live 3,000 miles away! I am blessed with such great clients and friends!
Stay in the Know! Latest Sessions are on Facebook!
November 1, 2011I’ve been pretty behind in blogging lately with wedding senior season wrapping up, but it’s been pretty easy for me to post a quick picture or 2 of what I’m working on and sessions I just shot. Become a fan (or “like”) my Facebook page to keep up to date on all my latest work.
A Birth Story {Vancouver, WA Birth Photography}
November 1, 2011I had the honor of photographing the birth of little Kinsley on September 27th. Ivy was induced early that morning and I was in contact with Todd throughout the morning. I got a text that her water broke around 11:15am and she was at a 5. I asked if she was progressing fast and he said nope, don’t leave yet I’ll let you know. At 12:00 I got a call saying to get my butt down to the hospital! Haha. I got there right in time! Luckily I had my camera ready to go so I stood in a good spot and literally 3 mins later Kinsely was welcomed to this world. Talk about timing!! I am so glad I made it on time and was able to get these amazing photos. I took about 800 pictures throughout the 3 hours I was there. This is just the tip of the iceberg! I will try to post more when things slow down in a month or 2.
I still get goosebumps just re-sizing these for web! After this experience I know that I will want a photographer there for the birth of our son in March.
