Henry’s Hospital Session {Vancouver, WA Professional Newborn Photography}

I am the worst.blogger.ever. I can’t believe I’m just now getting these posted…sorry Court! Mr Henry was born back in September. He was supposed to be my very first experience photographing a birth but I was literally 10 mins too late! He came so fast Courtney couldn’t even get an epidural (her worst nightmare!). Our friend Jenn and I were right outside the door when he was born and heard his first screams! These pictures were taken 3-5 mins after his arrival. So close!

Little Orren {Newborn Session}

He’s here!!

Orren has been a long anticipated addition to my long-time friend’s family. So glad that he’s here. I came to their house and photographed this session just 3 days after seeing him in the hospital. He just keeps getting cuter by the day!

He’s a bit stubborn like his parents…I think it took 3 hours and a bunch of feedings to get him to finally close his eyes. He didn’t want to miss any of the action! I worked quickly when he finally went down and was able to get some cute poses. Can you tell his dad’s a Steeler’s fan?!

Congratulations Tara and Dan, he’s perfect.

Baby Orren {Hospital Session}

This little guy made his surprise debut on Saturday a whole 17 days early. I was hanging out at a friend’s house for a Memorial Day BBQ when I got a picture message on my phone…I almost spilled my drink! I’ve known his mommy Tara since I was 8 years old. I’m so happy to share this phase of our lives with her and Dan. Can’t believe we’re old enough to have CHILDREN! Ah!

I was so excited to meet Orren on Sunday. Patrick and I stopped by on our way to go shoot a wedding. We tried to get some open-eye shots as well but the stubborn little bugger wouldn’t budge. (I don’t blame him it was before 11! ) Tomorrow is our newborn session so I’ll definitely get some then.
