I had a blast with this session! I’ve known Gabe and Nichole since we were all classmates at Central Catholic High School. They are high school sweethearts and have the most adorable kids!! We got to chat and catch up while doing the session and I got to know their little ones a bit better. Both were a little camera shy, but I managed to catch a few smiles! Thanks you guys! Next time maybe we get some of the kids together!

November 21, 2011Tried to take advantage of the fall colors while they were here…for like 2 weeks! Ugh! Super short fall this year, but the sessions I was able to book were so great! Fall is one of my favorite seasons, especially for photography. The soft light and gorgeous trees makes it so fun! Of course, it helps to have a BEAUTIFUL family in front of the camera. I mean…c’mon. So cute!!

We picked the perfect fall day with lots of those beautiful colors that went away WAY too fast this year! They brought along their dog Tyson, he was so fun to run around after and how photogenic! Takes after his parents

November 1, 2011I’ve been pretty behind in blogging lately with wedding senior season wrapping up, but it’s been pretty easy for me to post a quick picture or 2 of what I’m working on and sessions I just shot. Become a fan (or “like”) my Facebook page to keep up to date on all my latest work.
How cute are these cousins?! Despite the rain and soggy ground we had a great time playing with the kids in the trees around Point Defiance park in Tacoma. I shot a wedding on Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands the day before and it worked out great to schedule a few shoots on my way back to Vancouver. It was so fun to see one of my sorority sisters from college and finally meet her 4 year old daughter…I can’t believe it had been that long since we’d seen each other! She has a 4 year old! Man time is flying by. I was so glad to be able to get some super cute pictures, thanks so much you guys!

“H” Family {Beach Mini Session – Cannon Beach, OR}
September 14, 2011I was so excited when my friend from high school, Ben, and his wife Malia contacted me interested in a family beach mini session. As I’ve said many times before, the beach is my absolute FAVORITE place to go for pictures. The lighting is amazing and there is so much to do! It was an especially beautiful (SUNNY) day when this session took place…a little TOO sunny in the beginning. After 10-20 mins though it was perfect and we headed up on the dunes for some gorgeous group shots and couples portraits. I love that they brought their doggies, too! So fun! Thanks you guys
Ivy {Battle Ground, WA Professional Maternity Photography}
September 6, 2011You may recognize this beautiful family from little Teagan’s 4th birthday session a couple months ago. Ivy’s tummy was just a little bump back then, now she’s ready for her little one to arrive! We had the perfect day for our mini session a few weeks ago, I just LOVE that soft evening light! Just gorgeous. Can’t wait to photograph baby Kinsley’s arrival and newborn session soon!
