“H” Family Mini Session {Vancouver, WA Professional Family Portraits}
November 29, 2011I had a blast with this session! I’ve known Gabe and Nichole since we were all classmates at Central Catholic High School. They are high school sweethearts and have the most adorable kids!! We got to chat and catch up while doing the session and I got to know their little ones a bit better. Both were a little camera shy, but I managed to catch a few smiles! Thanks you guys! Next time maybe we get some of the kids together!

Destination Portraits {New York City Professional Family Pictures}
November 2, 2011A couple weeks ago I flew to NYC to photograph my best friend’s engagement session. One of my favorite clients moved to Long Island last year and thankfully I visit quite often so I can continue photographing them! I’ve been capturing little Charlize since she was still in her mommy’s tummy! I got some great pictures of her when just a few days old, and also when she turned one. These are her 2 year photos and I can’t believe how much she’s grown! Running, talking, playing…such a personality! I just love her.
Thanks Melissa and Rolly for wanting me to continue being your family photographer even when we live 3,000 miles away! I am blessed with such great clients and friends!

November 1, 2011I’ve been pretty behind in blogging lately with wedding senior season wrapping up, but it’s been pretty easy for me to post a quick picture or 2 of what I’m working on and sessions I just shot. Become a fan (or “like”) my Facebook page to keep up to date on all my latest work.
How cute are these cousins?! Despite the rain and soggy ground we had a great time playing with the kids in the trees around Point Defiance park in Tacoma. I shot a wedding on Roche Harbor in the San Juan Islands the day before and it worked out great to schedule a few shoots on my way back to Vancouver. It was so fun to see one of my sorority sisters from college and finally meet her 4 year old daughter…I can’t believe it had been that long since we’d seen each other! She has a 4 year old! Man time is flying by. I was so glad to be able to get some super cute pictures, thanks so much you guys!
I had the pleasure of photographing one of my oldest clients very special day a couple weeks ago. Their only daughter’s baptism! After having 3 boys, little Dahlia was born in June to very excited parents. This was my first time photographing a baptism and I loved it! I was raised Catholic and that day brought back lots of memories for me. Made me look forward to my own child’s baptism someday!

August 29, 2011I’ve been photographing this little sweetheart since she was just a few days old! I LOVE watching her grow! Those gorgeous blue eyes, I don’t know how her parents tell her no!
B Family {Cannon Beach, Oregon Family Mini Session}
August 11, 2011This session was taken during last month’s beach mini session day. I will be doing the last summer beach mini session day on Aug 19th and there’s only 2 spots left! Contact me asap if you’re interested! Beach sessions are my absolute favorite. The lighting is always amazing and there’s so much to do! I love capturing those sweet candid moments between parents and their child. Gives me goosebumps every time!
I have known this little one’s dad since we were classmates in high school. So awesome to see him again and to meet his beautiful family! I even got some smiles out of Ellie at the end! Yay! Thanks you guys, hope you like the pictures!

July 26, 2011I’ve known Mike since he dated my sister in high school (they both LOVE when I bring that up) haha. After high school he went into the military and to school in Arizona where he met his beautiful wife and started his family. They were in town for his sister’s wedding a couple weeks ago and we fit in a mini session before they went back to the desert. What little mini-me’s he created!!! Such an adorable family. Can’t wait to meet their little GIRL that’s on the way!
