A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of FINALLY photographing this beautiful family. We had been trying to schedule a session for months, so when the spring-like weather came out to play we took advantage of it! It might have been a little TOO sunny in fact, we had to stay in the shade and couldn’t take advantage of the beautiful park down on Lacamas Lake in Camas. Oh well, Caden had lots of fun on the playground for the first time. Super cute! His mommy and I used to play soccer together waaaay back in the day. It was great to see her again and to get to meet the men in her life. Such a fun shoot! Thanks you guys!

“E” {Family Session}

February 16, 2010

I had a blast with these guys! Definitely got my exercise running after the little guy…what a heart-breaker he’s going to be (& already is!) I think the photogenic gene runs in the family… see here, here, and here!

Big thanks to this family for letting me tag along to their day at the park! :-)

2010 is bringing lots of changes to Take 5 Photography! I’m launching a new wedding website sometime next month and totally re-branding my portrait site, blog, marketing materials, and client proofing process. I will be keeping the old logo for my weddings, but since I shoot mainly portraits I thought it would be fun to have a new look! I’m super excited about the new branding and even more excited to show you all the cool modern products I’m going to be offering. So fun!

For now…here’s the new logo! New sites launching next month!

Hayden {2 Year Session}

December 29, 2009

I’ve been photographing this little guy since he was in his mommy’s tummy! Unfortunately, he was born with conditions that not even the doctors can diagnose. He is so very loved, God placed this child in the right home. For more information on Hayden please visit his blog.

Love you Hayden and Angelique!

Hampton {Family Session}

December 15, 2009

This beautiful family made me want to have 2 little boys of my own! They had a blast playing with each other…sticks and dirt are toys ya know :-)

Oliver {6 month session}

November 17, 2009

This cutie was my first session during a trip up to Seattle a couple weeks ago. We started at the park with all the fall leaves on the ground and had to finish inside when it started raining. Ollie’s mom wanted some shots of both of them for his daddy who unfortunately had to work. Excited to shoot their family photos in a few months!

Love the diaper shots!! He’s such a little doll!

Brayden {Family Session}

November 9, 2009

I’ve known the parents of this little man for almost 10 years now. They were high school sweethearts in my class at Central Catholic and have kept in touch through Facebook over the years. I was so excited when they asked me to take family portraits for them! Brayden is an absolute doll and so well behaved! I had a blast running around after him and trying little tickles to get him to smile. So excited to capture more great shots of them as he grows! Thanks you guys!

This beautiful family was referred to me by Sid & Ella’s mommy. Thanks Jen! I had so much fun with these guys.

We had a bit of an overcast day at the beach, but Bennett didn’t seem to mind the chilly air! I got my workout chasing after him and his truck, trying to catch those elusive smiles. I love how we were able to get a hazy Haystack Rock in the background for some of the pictures! Thank you “A” family, I had a blast spending time with you! :-)
