Lukas is 3!

May 4, 2009

I’ve been taking Lukas’ pictures for the past couple years now and I love seeing how big he’s getting! Crazy how fast they grow. He’s the sweetest 3 yr old I know! His smile never left his face.

Lukas “then” – March 2008 – 2 years old

Can’t wait till next year! Thanks for letting me play with you little man!  :-)

I have recently had a couple inquiries about if Take 5 Gift Certificates were available. My answer — of COURSE they are!  :-)

I have fun making them too! (All are custom made depending on what session and products you want to give as a gift)

Facebook

March 9, 2009

Take 5 Photograhy has had a facebook fan page for about 9 months now. They have recently changed the way they have their business and product pages. It now looks and acts more like profiles. I am personally really liking the change! You can see what I have recently updated, write on Take 5’s wall, and I can post discounts and specials that I’m running.

Please add Take 5 Photography as a friend!  :-)

Katie’s After Session

March 4, 2009

A couple months ago, I met up with a fellow photographer, Melissa of Soul Mates Photography. We talked about working together for weddings and traded senior picture ideas and tricks of the trade. We then started talking about wanting to do a “Trash the Dress” session or “After Session”. I’ve been wanting to do one for a long time but things just never seemed to line up right.

Melissa contacted me a couple weeks ago and told me that one of her bride’s is excited to do one and asked if I would like to join. Of course my answer was yes! I was so excited to do something different!

When the day arrived I was a little tired from shooting a 10 hour wedding the night before, but kept thinking about the cool shots we’d get and toughed it out! So glad I did…just look at that rainbow!  :-)

Katie’s After Session on Portland’s Heliport!

(Some are very similar…I’m very indecisive and couldn’t decide which to leave out so I posted them all. :-P )

THANK YOU Melissa and Katie!

If you got married recently and want to get back in your dress for some fun shots send me an email! I had so much fun with these…hope to do lots in the future!

Holiday Family Shoot

January 2, 2009

Happy Holidays everyone! I’m finally all caught up on my shoots…thank GOODNESS. A month off in the middle of wedding season is not something I’m going to do again – good thing you only get married once!  :-)

Here is the rest of the session of my friend Susanna and her 2 boys shot last month. I posted their holiday card a couple weeks ago and was so happy to get a ton of positive comments on it! With those 2 handsome boys on the front…I don’t blame them  :-)

Little Nathan and Family

December 16, 2008

This photoshoot was my baby shower gift to my cousin-in-law Sara. She had little baby Nathan about 2 months ago and I was so happy to have captured some great pictures of this future heartbreaker! He’s absoutely adorable. His mommy and daddy love him very much…just look at the way they look at him! Gives me goosebumps  :-)

Congrats Sara and Blake!!

Love,

Missy

*EDIT 2/9/09 – Nathan passed away on Feb 3rd, 2009 of SIDS. While it is still very incomprehensible, we know he is with his grandpa watching us from heaven. Rest in peace little one.*

Sid & Ella’s First Christmas

December 15, 2008

These two are my first twin session and….I’m in love!! (How could you NOT be, though). Not only do they look like little cabbage patch dolls, but they have the most adorable personalities too!

I’m so glad their mommy found me online and that I had the pleasure of taking their first holiday pictures. Hopefully I found a client for life and will be able to see these 2 grow up! Their parents are probably the nicest couple I’ve ever met, too. I love meeting great people! Makes me have more faith in this sometimes crappy world.

Hope you like the pictures Matt and Jenn! Your little ones are just too stinkin cute!!  :-)

Family Christmas cards #2…

December 11, 2008

I had the pleasure of taking family portraits of the beautiful Susanna and her 2 boys a couple weeks ago and I was so happy when she wanted Christmas cards! I bought a ton of awesome templates this year and have been really pleased with how well they turn out with my pictures plugged in!  :-)

If you haven’t booked a session with me or order cards yet it’s not too late! “Holiday cards” can be sent out until after New Years!

The rest of her session coming soon!

Another Holiday shoot!

December 1, 2008

The “E” family are friends of my husband and I was very happy when they asked me to take some pictures for their Christmas cards this year. Their little guy had SO much energy! I got a workout chasing him around the playground. Dang cute though…look at those blue eyes!
