These beautiful women were my last session during my mini session day last month. So fun to photograph older children…it’s been a while since I’ve taken pictures of this age group. Such cute sisters!

Had a great time hanging out with this beautiful family at their home in Vancouver. I love the cousin picture…so telling of trying to get 3 kids under 4 together! :-)

Charlie {Mini Session}

This little Kewpie Doll was my only first time client at my Mini Session Day last month. SO adorable!! I went to high school with his mommy and have been wanting to photograph him ever since he was born. Seriously…look at those eyes! Heart-breaker already :-)

William {Mini Session}

Here’s the next session from my Mini Session Day! I had a blast playing with William! He has so much energy…what a cutie! :-)

This beautiful family contacted me about an extended family session. We had a great time together on a sunny Portland afternoon. Love all the colors! Thank you “H” family!

Caden {Baby Session}

June 25, 2010

This little guy was one of the 7 boys born to people I know this year. He was born April 24th to one of my oldest friends. Catherine was one of the first friends I made when I moved to Vancouver from Kennewick, WA in 1990. We were in the same 4th grade class and also played soccer on opposing teams. We later went to high school together and remained close friends. I even photographed her wedding back in 2006. Catherine and her husband Court live in Ohio now and came home to Vancouver for a visit and for all of us to meet their new addition! Caden is a doll, the perfect combination of his mom and dad. He didn’t quite like getting his picture taken though since most poses require him to be asleep….too much going on to be wasted on sleep! We wore him down at the end and got a couple cute sleepy ones, I was happy :-)

Congrats Cat and Court!! So great to see you guys….Caden is beautiful. Miss you guys already!

I’ve been photographing little Charlize since she was in her mommy’s tummy. She has grown so much since her newborn session, she has such a personality now! Just look at those huge grins…even despite the rain! I was smiling behind my camera the whole time. I absolutely love capturing the different stages of a baby’s life, it definitely goes by in a blink!

A few weeks ago I was hired to photograph an event for the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research Group (or NWABR) up in Seattle. It was the perfect opportunity to schedule sessions with some of my favorite Seattle families. First up is the “S” family. Little Ollie has grown so much since I last saw him! He’s one of my favorite little guys to photograph cuz he’s so darn expressive! I love his crinkled nose smile, inquisitive eyes, and worried wrinkly eyebrows. What a character!

Thanks guys! So great to see you again!

I haven’t photographed this little one since she was born! We were way over-due for some family pictures. I love little Natalie! She definitely gives new meaning to “baby blues”! :-)

Ok…maybe I’m biased. But they are a very good looking family! We got Kingston all bundled up for a little mini session a few weeks ago, of course the weather wasn’t really cooperating (what’s going on this year?!), but I managed to grab some smiles anyway. What are aunties for :-)
(See Andrea’s maternity session here, and Kingston’s newborn pictures here). He’s growing SO fast! Slow down life…I need more time to kiss those cheeks!
