I had the honor of photographing the birth of little Kinsley on September 27th. Ivy was induced early that morning and I was in contact with Todd throughout the morning. I got a text that her water broke around 11:15am and she was at a 5. I asked if she was progressing fast and he said nope, don’t leave yet I’ll let you know. At 12:00 I got a call saying to get my butt down to the hospital! Haha. I got there right in time! Luckily I had my camera ready to go so I stood in a good spot and literally 3 mins later Kinsely was welcomed to this world. Talk about timing!! I am so glad I made it on time and was able to get these amazing photos. I took about 800 pictures throughout the 3 hours I was there. This is just the tip of the iceberg! I will try to post more when things slow down in a month or 2.

I still get goosebumps just re-sizing these for web! After this experience I know that I will want a photographer there for the birth of our son in March.
