Whiney and Nick are one of my September wedding couples. We had a great time walking around the Pittock Mansion where they got engaged, then at Washington Park where some beautiful blooms were a great background.
I’m so glad I got to spend more time with these two, they are such great, loving, hard working people. We shot a little mini engagement session back in February for only about 30 mins to get pictures for their save the date cards. I loved getting to know them better 2 weekends ago during their “real” engagement session. Can’t wait for the wedding!

Julia is my first senior rep from my alma mater – Central Catholic High School. I’ve been wanting to photograph seniors from Central for a couple years now but never had the chance. I was so excited when Julia wanted to be my 2011 rep! We had a great time talking about teachers, sports, and classes. So fun to reminisce! Thanks Julia for a super fun rep session! May 20, 2010I met Ariel in downtown Vancouver along with her boyfriend and another friend. We walked along chatting while the boys goofed off. Good thing about having them there was that they got some great genuine smiles out of Ariel! But just look at those beautiful blue eyes…wow!

The “P” Family {Olympia, WA Family Session}
May 13, 2010A few weeks ago my husband and I were driving through Olympia on our way to Seattle so I could attend a photography conference. Since he grew up in Olympia, he has quite a few friends still in the area including his best friend Ben and his beautiful family. I had the pleasure of photographing them before, (see JoLin’s maternity session here, and baby Quinn’s newborn session here) it was a pleasure to get some fun casual family shots at a nearby park. This is my favorite way to photograph families… nothing posed, just capturing them being them.

Megan {Professional Head Shots Portland, OR}

Melissa & Nick {Pre-Prom Session}
May 12, 2010Melissa is one of my 2010 seniors. I was so excited that she wanted to do a pre-prom session with her boyfriend last Saturday. We had a blast walking along the Vancouver waterfront…goofing around and having fun. They are such a sweet couple! I could have photographed them for hours, but they had a reservation at the Melting Pot. I wanted to stow away in their trunk! Prom dinner with the photographer…that’s not weird, right?
