Jodi + Wes {Wedding}

Jodi and I have known each other since going to WSU together 2000-2004. I was so happy for her when she told me she was engaged and even more so when she wanted me to shoot her wedding! :-)

Jodi and Wes got married in August at the beautiful Crystal Mountain Resort in Washington state. We had to battle the intense sun and a broken blood vessel in the groom’s eye (poor Wes!), but their love for each other was so apparent. Just look at their huge smiles when they look at each other! Congratulations you guys!

Mini Sessions at the Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze!

I will be offering fall mini sessions this year at the Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch Oct 7th and 8th! I’m going to be holding another open mini session day in November in time for Christmas cards so keep that in mind as well.

The Oct 7th time slots are:

Pricing for the sessions:

$100 – 45 minute session
1 wall print (10×13 or 11 x 14)
3 gift prints. (5 x 7 and smaller)

$225 45 minute session
1 wall print (10 x 13 or 11 x 14)
1 10 image leather mini-album
5 gift prints (5 x 7 and smaller)

$350 45 minute session
2 wall prints (10 x 13 or 11 x 14)

Vanessa {Maternity Session}

I’ve known Vanessa for 9 years now (wow…). She was my sorority sister at WSU and a great friend throughout college. I am so happy for her and so glad I was able to capture this special time in her and her husband’s life. Congratulations Dan and Vanessa! I can’t wait to meet her! :-)

Elise & Justin {Senior Pictures}

She had me at “sushi”.

Elise’s mom, Kerrie, called me asking about senior pictures and said that she heard about me from my favorite sushi place – Katsura’s (formerly Yoshi’s) – here in Vancouver. She had me sold right then. Any sushi lover is a friend of mine! It got even better after she told me she had 2 seniors in her family graduating next year. Elise and Justin are step siblings and only a month or 2 apart in age. How fun! I was so excited to meet them. We started our double senior session at my studio in Salmon Creek then headed out on the town. First up, downtown Vancouver. We got a couple shots then came the downpour. I was so bummed, but then remembered that I had another senior session in a few days and asked if they’d like to come after that session and finish theirs. It worked out great! I was even able to get some pictures of the 2 of them in front of my favorite tree in the entire city :-)
