Little Nathan and Family

December 16, 2008

This photoshoot was my baby shower gift to my cousin-in-law Sara. She had little baby Nathan about 2 months ago and I was so happy to have captured some great pictures of this future heartbreaker! He’s absoutely adorable. His mommy and daddy love him very much…just look at the way they look at him! Gives me goosebumps  :-)

Congrats Sara and Blake!!

Love,

Missy

*EDIT 2/9/09 – Nathan passed away on Feb 3rd, 2009 of SIDS. While it is still very incomprehensible, we know he is with his grandpa watching us from heaven. Rest in peace little one.*

Jake’s Newborn Session

December 15, 2008

Though I loved taking pictures of this little guy in the hospital, it’s a little easier when you can control lighting and put him in fun places like armoire’s and dresser drawers…  :-)

Sid & Ella’s First Christmas

December 15, 2008

These two are my first twin session and….I’m in love!! (How could you NOT be, though). Not only do they look like little cabbage patch dolls, but they have the most adorable personalities too!

I’m so glad their mommy found me online and that I had the pleasure of taking their first holiday pictures. Hopefully I found a client for life and will be able to see these 2 grow up! Their parents are probably the nicest couple I’ve ever met, too. I love meeting great people! Makes me have more faith in this sometimes crappy world.

Hope you like the pictures Matt and Jenn! Your little ones are just too stinkin cute!!  :-)

Baby Jake is here!

December 11, 2008

So crazy to think that just 3 short weeks before, little Jacob Eric was in this tummy! He is an absolute doll (as I knew he would be). Definitely a lady-killer already! I was lucky enough to be there just a few short hours after he came into this world. Below are Jake’s first and second days of life.

Congrats Courtney and Eric! I’ll be posting his newborn session soon!

Family Christmas cards #2…

December 11, 2008

I had the pleasure of taking family portraits of the beautiful Susanna and her 2 boys a couple weeks ago and I was so happy when she wanted Christmas cards! I bought a ton of awesome templates this year and have been really pleased with how well they turn out with my pictures plugged in!  :-)

If you haven’t booked a session with me or order cards yet it’s not too late! “Holiday cards” can be sent out until after New Years!

The rest of her session coming soon!

Jordan’s 1!

December 9, 2008

This little guy is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time! His mom called me as a referral from my good friend Hayden’s mom and I was so excited to get some great first birthday pictures! Those blue eyes could be in a magazine…

Love it!

Jon & Mari

December 5, 2008

This post has been a long time coming. I shot Jon & Mari’s wedding back in August and I’m finally getting caught up on editing. Since I myself was married in September, the weddings I’ve shot have been a bit behind (sorry guys!!). I’m finally done though and able to post!

Jon and my husband Patrick have been friends since they were in Kindergarten. Their wedding was a bit spur-of-the-moment, but I was honored that they asked us to be there on their special day. There was only family there, so Patrick was put in charge of the video camera. I hope collectively we were able to capture memories for them that they will cherish forever.

Congratulations to the (now) old married couple!  ;-)

Enjoy!

I’ve known Courtney since I was 8 years old. We played on the Salmon Creek Soccer Club “Foxes” team together. Her long legs made her fast as hell…easily striding past the defenders for goal after goal.

We lost touch after middle school, each of us going to different high schools. I was lucky enough to be reunited with her at a friend’s wedding 3 years ago and have been able to call her one of my best friends ever since. I was so happy to do this session for her and her husband Eric. She was literally glowing! What a beautiful family….

Jacob Eric was born on November 24th, 2008. Hospital and newborn pics coming soon!  :-)

Another Holiday shoot!

December 1, 2008

The “E” family are friends of my husband and I was very happy when they asked me to take some pictures for their Christmas cards this year. Their little guy had SO much energy! I got a workout chasing him around the playground. Dang cute though…look at those blue eyes!
